This week we are dodging fireballs and sexy ex-girlfriends while we talk about “Fire”! We’re swooning over the cool arson specialist, complaining about the problematic writing of female characters (thanks, Chris Carter), trying to avoid parasocial relationships with Mark Sheppard, freaking out about Mulder and Phoebe going to town on ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE’S GRAVE?!?!, and pretend not to laugh about Mulder crying on the floor. We also finally get around to discussing Mulder’s character-defining fire-related trauma, because you can’t spell Mulder without pyrophobia. Everyone knows that.
