Description
This episode was originally delivered at a Bible prophecy conference on April 1, 2017 at Hope Bible Church in Tampa, Florida. I discussed two very common pretribulational proof texts as well as an alternative interpretation other than pretrib on how we should live in light of Jesus’s coming.
“So be patient, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s return. Think of how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the ground and is patient for it until it receives the early and late rains. You also be patient and strengthen your hearts, for the Lord’s return is near. Do not grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be judged. See, the judge stands before the gates!” (James 5:7–9)
“as we wait for the happy fulfillment of our hope in the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.” (Titus 2:13)
