HOPE IN THE USA – from the Good News Network
You’d be hard-pressed to find evidence of it but historically the United States has a reputation for being a hopeful nation, and a new survey indicates this optimistic outlook is still as American as apple pie.
According to a recent study a whopping 82% of Americans are currently hopeful about their own futures. An even larger portion, 85 percent, are hopeful about the future of their family.

If you’re watching the news, whether it’s Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, or even your local news you’re probably saying that last story is complete crap.
Recently, I read some research that shows roughly 90% of Democrats and 90% of Republicans believe that if the presidential candidate from the other party is elected, it will do lasting harm to the country. If there was another poll to single out Independents, it’s a safe bet they’d say, “You’re both right!”
