Briley Palmer, Head Women's Basketball Coach and the Lady Cardinals of Mineral Area College, recently made an appearance on the Knuckleball Prime Time podcast presented by The Barn. 

As the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Mineral Area College, Briley Palmer has earned a reputation for leadership and excellence. In an electrifying upset at the Bob Sechrest Fieldhouse in Park Hills, Missouri, the Mineral Area College Women's Basketball team, ranked #17 in the NJCAA, pulled off a remarkable victory against their rivals, the #9 Three Rivers Community College Lady Raiders. The highly anticipated game, held on Saturday, January 27th, 2024, during Homecoming, drew a packed crowd and witnessed the MAC Cardinals (20-1, 5-0), under the guidance of Coach Briley Palmer, emerge victorious in a fiercely contested battle.

Freshman guard Maddie Ayers stole the spotlight with a stellar performance, leading the game with an impressive 29 points. Ayers' clutch play, coming off the bench, was instrumental as she demonstrated her scoring prowess, shooting 7 for 12 from the field and an impressive 4 for 5 from beyond the arc during critical moments. Additionally, her ability to sink crucial free throws and contribute with assists showcased her versatility and impact on the game.
