Two events are hosted by the USAC Karting organization during the months of July and August. It’s the busy summer season, gearing up for the third edition of the Battle at the Brickyard held on July 5-7 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the Elkhart Riverwalk Grand Prix on August 9-11. Each are expected to welcome a number of grassroots racers and top level drivers/teams from coast-to-coast to experience the thrill and rareness of each event. EKN’s Rob Howden talks with USAC Karting’s Mike Burrell about each event coming up and what to expect at this year’s programs.
