הוראה מיום שבעה באדר (יום ההילולא של משה רבינו): ישנה כמה דרכים שע"י יכול יהודי להתקשר עם התורה, לדוגמא: יהודי שעבודתו בקו ד"זבולון" יכול לעשות "שותפות" עם יהודי שעבודתו בקו ד"ישכר" וכיו"ב, אבל הגם שהוא "משמש את קונו" באופן זה ואין תובעים ממנו יותר, אבל בפועל אין לו את השלימות של ה"ומצאת" בתורה. כדי להשיג את התורה באופן של מציאה, שהיא שלא בערך לעבודתו, אין דרך אחרת מלבד להתייגע בתורה! והנה בשבעה באדר, יום ש"מרעיש" אודות ענינו של משה רבינו שהוא "תורת משה עבדי", לוקחים התעוררות, חיות וכח על כל השנה כולה להוסיף "שטורעם" בתורה, היינו, להתייגע בלימוד התורה, ועי"ז - "יגעתי ומצאתי". ומהדברים ש"התורה נקנית בהם" - "דיבוק חברים" ו"פלפול התלמידים", והיינו, שהוא פועל גם על אחרים ללמוד ולהתייגע בתורה באופן של "שטורעם".

A lesson from 7 Adar (the yahrzeit of Moshe Rabbeinu): There are various ways a Jew can connect to the Torah. For example, a Jew serving in the role of “Zevulun” can partner with a Jew serving the role of “Yissachar” etc. However, although one properly “serves his Maker” in this fashion and we can’t demand more from him – as a practical matter he will not “find” success in Torah this way. The only way to “find” success (like a “found object,” which is not proportional to the effort invested in finding it) is to toil in Torah. On 7 Adar, when the role of Moshe Rabbeinu is expressed with fervor – and his role was Torah – we are inspired to toil in Torah study, and by toiling – “you will find.” Among the “ways by which the Torah is acquired” are “companionship with one’s contemporaries and debating with one’s students,” meaning, influencing others to likewise study Torah and toil in Torah with fervor.
