The Bald Builders on Trade Jobs, Viral Videos and Starting Again
Description
What does it take to rebuild after losing a business, and what happens when the videos you make on the side suddenly take off?
In Season 1, Episode 6 of Off The Job, Keiran and Pete are joined by Brad and Sam, better known as The Bald Builders. They talk about their early years in plastering, plumbing and building, the online builders’ merchant they spent years developing, and the setback that sent them back to site work.
Brad and Sam share how they rebuilt through flow screed, brought their social media page back to life and found an audience with sketches, family content and viral food pranks. They also get honest about the work behind the views, their friendship, and Sam’s experience with gambling and recovery.
There’s plenty of trade banter, but this one has a proper story behind it.
