Back to EpisodesSam Miller on Training, Testing and Quantifying Power with 3-D Resistance
Description
Sam Miller is the Founder and CEO of Proteus motion – a cutting-edge technology and training company that’s looking to fill in the gaps with how we test and train for power development.
As someone that’s always looking to sharpen the saw and improve my own programming, I jumped at the chance to get Sam on the show.
After watching demo videos of the Proteus I obviously wanted to talk about how we can incorporate better 3D Training with our athletes, but what I was most surprised by was how he’s using it with gen pop clients as well.
So in this episode we cover a ton of ground – from the long days and nights Sam had when he started building the Proteus, to why we need to be digging deeper into rotational power training, and of course discussing how important it is to make training FUN – so our clients and athletes will want to keep coming back for years to come.
It is absolutely essential to be evaluating multi-planar and rotational movement.
