How did three brothers go from flooring and landscaping jobs to making home improvement videos full-time? And why did only two of them arrive on time for this interview?

Brad and Phil from The Home Improvements Channel UK join Keiran Yates and Pete Withers for Season 1, Episode 5 of Off The Job: A Tradesman Podcast. Younger brother Jack turns up later, bringing the guest count up to three and giving everyone a chance to comment on his timekeeping.

Phil opens up about a serious illness that left him unable to walk properly and changed the direction of his working life. The brothers also explain how they started filming, grew an audience across social platforms, choose which brands to work with and keep their practical skills at the centre of their videos.

Then come the customer stories: a job they walked away from, a camera pointed at a conveniently placed tenner, and the sort of moments tradespeople remember long after the invoice is paid.

New to Off The Job? It’s a UK trades podcast with honest conversations, useful stories, strong language and absolutely no promise that Keiran and Pete will stick to the question.
