John, 1:38    Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, “What are you seeking?” And they said to him, “Rabbi” (which means Teacher), “where are you staying?”  

 Jesus, being God, already knew why these men were following Him. So why ask?    Because He wanted them to know why they were following Him!

 Simple. Authentic. Jesus.
