VOTERS IN Turkey go to the polls this coming Sunday. At stake are the ambitions of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who apparently wants to reestablish the caliphate, which was abolished by the Turkish government in 1924.
Cliff Garner, co-host of Like Flint Radio, discusses the political situation in Turkey, why Erdogan wants to bring back the caliphate, and why some scholars see Erdogan's goal as the prophesied Beast of Revelation.
