2: Nehemiah prays for God’s people (Neh. 1:5-11a).
3: Nehemiah is positioned to help God’s people (Neh. 1:11b).
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
- When are you most aware of the fact that you are living in exile? How does this passage draw you closer to God?
- Which aspects of Nehemiah’s prayer (Vv. 5-11) did you resonate with the most? Why?
- What burdens (like Nehemiah’s concern for Jerusalem) has God put on your heart? How has He positioned you to be part of the answer to that prayer?
