We are often so caught up in and overwhelmed by the activities of the day that we fail to visualize a different future for ourselves, our families, our communities and the world.
The way things are, are not the way things always need to be. We need to ask ourselves what a compelling future looks like.
How do I want to grow personally? Do I have gifts I want to develop? Do I want to be a better steward of my health, my finances, my relationships? What does that look like?
Professionally, what kind work or role would I find fulfilling? What compensation level would do I need or desire? What does a good work life balance look like?
If we want to enlarge our horizons personally and professionally, we have to take the time to dream. Dreams carry new possibilities.
