The Problem of Historical Jesus & the Gospels (Challenges To Christianity 2.0 - Ep. 1 - Sermon Audio)

Published 4 years, 5 months ago
Description

Almost all of Jesus' teaching, as recorded in the Gospels, does not fit into our linear post-modern, Western worldview. One of the greatest missteps for skeptics is to look into the historical figure of Jesus, and the Gospel accounts, but neglect to consider the context of…
- the events took place and the people who were involved,
- the time period and location in which Jesus lived and served,
- the languages that were spoken and written in the first accounts,
- and the order in which all of the events were recorded in the four authoritative Gospels that we now have in Scripture.

Today, using some Biblical content and a few aids from Mark Clark’s book, “The Problem of Jesus”, we’ll be focusing on “the Historical Jesus” and “the Gospels”.
