We've been studying chapter 11 in the book of Hebrews, looking at the incredible history of the people who followed God and lived their lives in faith. Over the last few weeks we have unpacked many of the different stories about these faith heroes and we've learned a lot about what faith looks like in the life of someone who places their trust in God.
This week, we are going to dive into the deep question of why these people trusted God so much. Why did they put all of their hope into the promises God made to them? When they looked at the world around them and they considered their options, why did they trust God's guidance in their lives more than their own intuition and understanding? Of all the alternatives, why was God their ultimate hope?
