התורה היא "חמדה גנוזה" של הקב"ה, והוא נתנה לכאו"א מישראל. אבל התנאי וההכנה לקבל את התורה היא אמירת "נעשה ונשמע" – שיקיים ויתנהג בפועל בחיי היום-יומית לפי הוראות התורה. והדרך הנעלה ביותר לבטא את היוקר של התורה הוא לא (כ"כ) ע"י ש"שומר" את התורה שלא יבזו אותה ח"ו, אלא עי"ז שבכל עניניו, גם ענינים הגשמיים שעושה עם הגוף, ניכר שזה נעשה ע"י מי שמקושר עם התורה. וענין זה נוגע ביותר כאשר מדובר אודות נשי ובנות ישראל, שאודותן נצטווה משה רבינו לפני מ"ת "כה תאמר לבית יעקב – אלו הנשים", ורק לאח"ז "ותגיד לבני ישראל – אלו האנשים". כי כדי להבטיח שאצל האנשים יהי' "נעשה ונשמע" ה"ז תלוי ב"נעשה ונשמע" של הנשים.

The Torah is Hashem’s “hidden treasure,” and He gives it to every Jew. However, the condition and preparation for receiving the Torah is to declare Na’aseh V’Nishma, “We will do and we will hear” – to keep the Torah practically and live one’s day-to-day life according to the Torah’s instructions. The highest expression of the Torah’s preciousness is not just by honoring a Sefer-Torah and keeping it from being disrespected and the like, but by living in such a way that in everything one does, even physical matters and bodily matters, it is evident that it is being done by someone who is connected to Torah. And this is especially important in the case of Jewish women and girls, as the Torah states – before the Torah was given, Moshe was commanded, “‘Thus shall you say to the house of Yaakov’ – this refers to the women”, and only afterwards, “‘and tell the sons of Yisrael’ – this refers to the men.” Because the Na’aseh V’Nishma of the men depends on the Na’aseh V’Nishma of the women.
