In this episode I wanted to talk about about some of the mistakes that I've made while training for ultras.

There are a lot of moving parts to this sport and it can be tough to navigate - especially if this is your first time at this distance. 

So I want to help you shorten the learning curve and make it across the finish line happy and in one piece! 

In no particular order here they are: 

  • not testing your gear early or often enough
  • putting stuff off / not dealing with it until it's a huge problem
  • winging it (going off script) on race day
  • trying to run someone else's race
  • living & dying by the technology
