The Citizen Summit is one of the most important events at the City of Port St. Lucie. It allows residents to receive in-depth information about the City’s Strategic Plan and also provide input on the plan’s seven goals.
In a nutshell, it gives them an opportunity to shape the future of their city.
On Episode 16, Sarah Prohaska, Communications Director, and Kate Parmelee, Deputy City Manager for Strategic Initiatives & Innovation, talk about how and why the Citizen Summit was formed and share insight about the ways in which resident feedback collected at the Summit, along with the annual National Community Survey, will be used to help City Council update the Strategic Plan and identify budget priorities.
