The latest on Juan Soto. Are the Nationals better off trading him?

Episode 6 Published 3 years, 9 months ago
Description

Are the Washington Nationals better off trading Juan Soto? He is the franchise player of the Nationals, but he can't play all the positions and win games for the Nationals. The counter, of course, can be found in the American League West. The Angels employ Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani — and reside 14 games under .500. Two players cannot create a contender, let alone one. By himself, Soto cannot get Washington to the postseason.

The deal on the table is a 15-year deal. Juan would like to know what direction this team is going in and who is going to own this team.

It's a tough position for the Nationals as they want to start playing better, but do they want to do that even if it means trading player for prospects that we don't know how they will perform?

August second is the trade deadline, and the Nationals have a lot of questions to answer
