Argentina initiates the first general strike against the measures that the ultra-right-wing President Javier Milei plans to approve.

This strike was called by the workers and the main social organizations against the so-called Decree of Necessity and Emergency and the controversial Omnibus Law.

Venezuela activates the plan called "Bolivarian Fury" against what President Nicolás Maduro calls new magnicide plans of the extreme right wing and recalled that in 2023 five assassination attempts against him and his cabinet were dismantled. This plan was supported by a huge crowd in the east of Caracas while in other sectors of the capital a rally in support of the disqualified opposition candidate Maria Corina Machado took place.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi paid an official visit to Türkiye and was received by his peer Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
