Supernatural Season 5, Episode 21, Two Minutes to Midnight recap 🕛 The Winchesters race to stop Pestilence's tainted Croatoan vaccine from shipping out, Bobby makes a deal with a certain King of the Crossroads, and Dean meets DEATH (Julian Richings) over Chicago deep-dish pizza, on Denim-wrapped Nightmares, a Supernatural rewatch podcast.

Picking up right after The Devil You Know's cliffhanger, Bobby has made a choice, and Crowley (Mark Sheppard) has a very memorable way of sealing it. With Cas running on empty and nearly human, Sam and Dean head to a hospital to take on Pestilence (Matt Frewer), before splitting up, with Sam, Bobby and Cas sabotaging the shipment while Dean and Crowley track down the final horseman in Chicago. Death is calmer, creepier, and way more polite than anyone expected... and he has a proposal of his own.

In the lore segment, we dig into Pestilence and Death: the debate over whether the white horse's rider is Christ or the Antichrist, the four chariots in the Book of Zechariah, how pestilence entered pop culture through Vicente Blasco Ibáñez's 1916 novel The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, and Death, the only horseman the Bible actually names, riding a pale horse with Hades close behind.
