Funerals in honor of Senator Piedad Cordoba continue in Colombia.
During a ceremony in the Colombian Congress, a high-level Venezuelan delegation decorated the senator with the Liberating Order of Venezuela and a replica of the Victorious Saber of Carabobo.
The senator's remains are expected to arrive in her native Medellin today for burial.
Through the mediation of Egypt and Qatar, Israel offered Hamas an agreement that includes a 2 month ceasefire in exchange for the release of all hostiles detained in Gaza.
