Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!

I am revisiting a prior episode I did on August 29th, 2023 (the top 10 ways to deal with your backlog). At the beginning of every year I often find that I am contemplating how I can tackle my backlog, and this year I decided to take my own advice and drew from my prior top 10 list. My methods to take on the backlog is still evolving, but I certainly feel more inspired this year to make something more out of it. This week I go over my work-in-progress on how I am planning to tackle my backlog, and I make a humble plea to the community to participate and send me an email or DM on X/Twitter picking a number between 1 and 1435, so that I can pick a title from an extensive list of games I want to play and incorporate it into the show (check out the episode to learn more). Tune in to hear what methods I am combining from my prior list and how I intend to make the act of cataloguing and sorting the backlog something fun in and of itself!
