The Chicago Blackhawks bucked several trends and defeated the New York Islanders Friday night. The win marked the first of the season in the seconds of back-to-back games. It was also the first time they've scored multiple goals since a win versus Calgary nearly 2 weeks ago. The Hawks fell behind 1-0 in the 1st period but battled back in the 2nd. Boris Katchouk and Joey "Whoa" Anderson scored goals just 1:07 apart in the 2nd to enter the 3rd with a lead. Jason Dickinson padded the lead in the 3rd with his 15th goal of the year. But the Islanders wouldn't go away, scoring 2 goals to send it to overtime. It didn't take long in the extra frame, as Seth Jones netted the game-winner for the Hawks!
