A fascinating variation to the Man with a Hook for a Hand urban legend, Cropsey terrorized Staten Island, New York in the 1970's. A type of Boogeyman, Cropsey scared kids all over NYC into good behavior and avoiding the woods.
It's all spooky fun and scary stories, until it isn't--because Cropsey turned out to be a real-life Boogeyman.
Who was the real-life Cropsey? And how would you react to the news that a supposed urban legend turned out to be a real-life nightmare?
