Episode Details

Matthew 20:25–28 says, “Jesus called them to himself and said, ‘You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lorded over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them, yet it shall not be so among you, but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant, and whoever desires to be first among you, let him be a slave, just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give his life a ransom for many.’”

The way of the cross is indeed foolishness to those who are perishing. It's foolish for a religious age that taught the people that the way to change the culture is through wealth, status, and power. 

But Jesus taught that the way to greatness, the way to win the victory, is by being the least of these. Seek a servant's heart.
