Description

What’s your relationship to alcohol? Alcohol is one of the most common casually used substances in the world. Yet more and more people are quitting drinking, and alcohol culture is changing. Today we chat with Carly Fox, a former trip leader and surf/yoga instructor for SWA. We learn about her surf journey, discovery of surf therapy and counseling, and how she reevaluated her relationship with alcohol and became sober. We chat about drinking cycles and becoming dependent on substances, noticing your body’s responses, navigating social drinking and anxiety, and setting goals for yourself.

Surf With Amigas runs surf coaching and yoga retreats for women in Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru, Morocco, and Indonesia — http://surfwithamigas.com
