After presenting his annual speech to the Assembly, Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro stated that the extreme right-wing president Javier Milei is a "fatal mistake in the history of Argentina" and affirmed that the United States is increasing its military presence in the region taking advantage of the violent crisis facing Ecuador.
