ההוראה ממ"ש [בראשון דפ' בא] "ולכל בנ"י הי' אור במושבותם" ופרש"י ש"חפשו ישראל את כליהם וכשיצאו והיו שואלין מהן והיו אומרים אין בידינו כלום אומר לו אני ראיתיו בביתך וכו'": נס זה, שגם במצב של "וימש חושך" במצרים יהי' אור לבנ"י, עשה ה' כדי שבנ"י יוכלו לראות בביתו ונכסיו של המצריים את הניצוצי קדושה שנמצאים שם, שעי"ז יוכלו לקיים את הציווי "ונצלתם את מצרים" מה"ניצוצי קדושה"! ובהשגחה פרטית נכנס כל א' לאותו בית שנמצאו שם (הכלי כסף וזהב, שבהם) הניצוצי קדושה שעליו לבררם! ועד"ז בזמן זה ש"כימי צאתך מארץ מצרים אראנו נפלאות": כשסומך על הקב"ה, יש לו את ה"אור" גם כשמוכרח ליכנס לבית מצרי ולהתעסק עם כליו כו', שיוכל לנצל א"ז לקיום ציווי ה'.

משיחת ט"ו בשבט ה'תשמ"א

(The second aliyah of Parashas Bo states:) “but for the entire Jewish people there was light in their dwellings.” Rashi explains that “the Jewish people searched and saw their belongings. When they were leaving and asked for them, and [the Egyptians] said, ‘We have nothing,’ [the Jew] would say to him, ‘I saw it in your house…’ The lesson is: Hashem performed this miracle, of providing light for the Jewish people, even in the midst of “tangible darkness” in Egypt, so that the Jewish people would be able to see the sparks of holiness contained in the Egyptians’ houses and property to fulfill the command, “and you shall empty out Egypt” of its sparks of holiness. By Divine providence, every Jew entered the correct house which contained the gold and silver utensils containing the sparks of holiness designated for him to elevate. Similarly, in the present era, “As in the days of your exodus from the land of Egypt, I will show him wonders:” When one relies on Hashem, he has the “light” so that even when he must enter an Egyptian’s house and deal with an Egyptian’s belongings etc., he can utilize it to fulfill a command of Hashem.
