But as customers’ expectations change, the newer architecture requires a bi-directional flow of information to get an immersive and seamless omnichannel experience. Also, just because ERP demos might make advanced capabilities such as ATP appear easy, they are not easy to set up and require a transformational mindset, along with changes in data and processes. Otherwise, the issues are likely to percolate up in ways you wouldn’t expect.
