Huawei has had a shitty year so far and their hot streak continues with their recent National Day phone promotion. Stocks ran out before stores even opened, causing mayhem and disappointment for thousands of people who queued up as early as 10pm the night before. Even the police had to show up with machine guns! Was it a miscalculation, is Huawei that idiotic, or was it all part of the plan? In other news, famous comedian-DJ Dennis Chew appears in an ad that takes CMIO to the next level - with him playing appearing as a Chinese, Malay, Indian AND Eurasian. And the ad’s for an e-payment solution endorsed by the SG Govt. Whyyyyyyyyy? It’s 20-freaking-19 guys.
