* Prescription opiate background * Getting hard into extracts after back surgery * Being an entrepreneur and juggling kratom addiction * Going through divorce in the middle of severe kratom suffering * Checking myself in detox and 30 days of treatment * Relapsing the next day * Oral naltrexone * Multiple rounds on and off Vivitrol- benefits and pitfalls * Suboxone * Experimenting with Sublocade * At one point, hiring a sober companion to follow me from work to home because I literally couldn't stop * Experience with a number of different meds to get off * Being in active recovery * Cold turkey withdrawals * Massive longevity with PAWS * More Relapses * Strong views after 2 years of active participation and serving as in admin in rooms within our growing but still very immature Kratom recovery community * Another relapse or two * Finding out my testosterone is at scary low levels
