3 - Total Healing - Living the Faith Level 2

Season 3 Episode 3 Published 2 years, 2 months ago
Description

This is the third of 20+ talks given by Fr. Timothy on living the Catholic faith. His goal is to inspire and guide us to sainthood. He reminds us in this series that sainthood is not some extra add-on bonus we can achieve, but is rather the fullest expression of our true selves.

This episode is all about healing. Jesus is the divine healer and healing is integral to our faith. By living in the world and in relationship with other people, we are wounded. It is these wounds that are always at the root of sinful behavior. Healing these wounds helps us return to the original state of optimal spiritual health that God created us to live in.

Topics discussed in this episode:

What is a spiritual wound?

Which relationships are most likely to cause wounds?

How is it that well-meaning parents wound their children?

How to break the spiritual bonds formed between people who commit sin together

How do we wound ourselves?

What do you do when you realize you've been wounded?

What is the main thing that keeps us from total healing?

What if you were wounded by the Church?

“I cut and sever the unholy soul tie formed between me and __ through the sin of ___ in the name of Jesus Christ.”

If your Catholic faith has felt like a series of dead obligations, this series will revive your faith life in a profound way. We support you on your journey and are praying for you.
