"New Year Sustainable You" with Brittany Wheeler

Season 1 Episode 12 Published 2 years, 3 months ago
Description

From 2014-2022 I spent New Years Days creating goals based on 24 hours of reflection. But each of these years all I achieved was burnout and disappointment. I only took a day to decide what goals “fit” for that year. Rather than “trying on” goals that would fit because I was willing to create sustainable change. After listening to a successful entrepreneur share how he starts off every New Year, I knew his tips could be applied to my life. Join me as I share HOW to achieve your goals through this sustainable process!

  • The New Year is a time for rejuvenation, refresh and rebirth
  • Most people don't make it into the 4th week of the new year because what they have created isn't sustainable
  • This process is applicable to any goal; health/wellness, spiritual, finances, relational
  • Using this process will help you create sustainability through the end of the year
  • Remove the “running out the gate” mentality
  • Allow yourself to live the first three weeks of January so you can decide if the goals you are considering will FIT and make sense
  • Reflecting in your business(es) not just for 2023 but 2022 as well- this will give you a big runway for growth
  • As a couple, reflect on what worked and what didn’t work regarding kids involvement, date nights, time with friends etc.
  • You cannot make a years worth of goals in one night, so be smart and take the time to reflect and assess
  • This is duplicatable and can be scaled down monthly
  • Take the time to do this, see this process as an investment not something that takes away your time
