No matter what the conflict between governments around the world is, you can be 100% sure it's not as simple as one of the sides is GOOD and the other is BAD. The conflict between Israel and the Palestinians is no different. The media and the talking heads who have an interest on one side or the other are constantly framing the other as "animals", "barbaric" or any number of a half dozen other names to help malign and assign fault when the truth is, both sides have done unthinkable things to the other. Public opinion is directly related to how much money and for how long it will flow to these wars, so the stakes are very high and the interest on both sides playing for keeps.
