Jorge Rodriguez, president of the Venezuelan National Assembly, announced that he will take legal action accusing the U.S. government of violating the human rights of diplomat Alex Saab. 

Ales Saab indicated that, during the 3 years he was imprisoned in the United States, the American government could not find evidence against him or against Venezuela.
