🚨 Bitcoin blockchain has exceeded half a terabyte in size due to a surge in transactions and expanded block capacity. Bitcoin blockchain, node operators now need in excess of 500 gigabytes (GB) of available storage. Downloading the full blockchain would take about 47 hours and 44 minutes using a standard 24 Mbps ADSL connection.

-Shiba Inu team is collaborating with domain company D3 to pursue the launch of SHIB domains for websites and email. Together, they are advocating for approval to establish the first-ever crypto top-level domain. 
There has not been much movement on the price of hashtag#SHIB since the announcement though. The team has partnered with D3 Global, a digital infrastructure provider, to help make Shiba Inu’s application for a TLD as compelling as possible. The collaborative strategy document from China’s Ministry of Science and Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the China Association for Science and Technology will address Web3 issues like inheritance, innovation, security, and government obligations. The ministry aims to boost inter-departmental collaboration, drive Web3 innovation, conduct research, and develop industry talent.
