Dr. Hernández currently serves as an assistant professor of Old Testament Interpretation and the Director of the Online Hispanic Program at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville, KY).

• Levirate Marriage: If a man dies his brother was able to take the man’s wife and have children with his brother's wife to raise up seed for his brother's name. 
• Levir: Latin word for “husband's brother”
