We also dig deep into the background of Walt Disney World’s Thunder Mesa (and Marc Davis’s disappointments) and how it influenced the design of Frontierland for the Imagineers. Along the way, we experience a vibraslap, drum up some sympathy for the various suitors for Melanie Ravenswood (with hilarious names), and discuss the irreplaceable (yet replaced) Vincent Price, who felt right at home in the Phantom Manor.
