Revolutionary Solution to Urinary Incontinance with Lauren Barker

Season 1 Episode 10 Published 2 years, 8 months ago
Description

Welcome to Episode 10! In today's episode, I had the fortunate opportunity to chat with an entrepreneurial trailblazer in the world of women’s healthcare innovation. In this episode, you are going to learn  about the inspiration behind Lauren Barker’s  decision to get behind a revolutionary product to address urinary incontinence. Lauren is the CEO of Uresta.

Uresta was founded by world-renowned Canadian urogynecologist and Dalhousie University Professor Dr. Scott A. Farrell. Dr. Farrell recognized that the options for dealing with leaks were outdated, uncomfortable, and quite honestly, costly to the environment and saw the opportunity  to create a non-invasive, at-home solution - without prescription, medication or procedures.

Lauren transitioned away from her career in financial investments  to join a team headed by female entrepreneurs and soon found herself leading the company entrusted in women's pelvic health.
