  Ep 45. Aphantasia Explained: Enhancing Perception Beyond Visualization.  Aphantasia, affecting a small percentage, prevents individuals from visualizing in their mind's eye. This condition may have evolved due to limited light conditions, enhancing other senses. Brain scans reveal active executive engagement during visualization attempts in aphantasic individuals. However, slower executive function in urgent situations contrasts with heightened sensory awareness in low-light environments. Visual perception is incredibly fast. Take care and walk well.
