Season 1 Episode 253
Most streets are named for people or places. Sometimes they're connected to the street itself, sometimes not. But once in a while, a street name is a clue to a remarkable piece of history. This new series seeks out incidents so memorable that communities sought to preserve them in their street names. Tonight we travel to three of them: The colorful history behind Gipsy Drive and Stanley Avenue in Dayton; the heartwarming story of "Africa Road" in Delaware County; and the Akron tragedy forever remembered as "Memorial Parkway."
