Galatians 5:17
For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.
“Sin is always acting, always conceiving, always seducing and tempting.
Who can say that he had ever anything to do with God or for God, that indwelling sin had not corrupted what he did?
Do you kill sin?
Do you make it your daily work?
Be always at it while you live;
cease not a day from this work;
be killing sin or it will be killing you.”
