Michael Bernzweig welcomed Mike Heap, co-founder of My AskAI, to discuss how his startup is using AI to help businesses quickly create customized chatbots. Mike explained that My AskAI emerged from his previous work fine-tuning AI models. He realized many people wanted to upload documents and data to create useful chatbots for customer service and knowledge bases, but struggled with the technical complexity.

So Mike and co-founder Alex built My AskAI to be an easy no-code platform. Users simply upload content like help documents or websites, and My AskAI instantly generates a chatbot that can answer natural language questions using that data. The key benefit is providing fast, customized AI assistance without needing coding expertise.

Mike demonstrated My AskAI by creating a chatbot from Slack's documentation that could intelligently answer questions about Slack. He highlighted capabilities like customizing the chatbot's name, personality prompt, and appearance to match a company's brand. Integrations with tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and website builders also make distribution easy.

Mike noted that My AskAI's ease of use and breadth of integrations differentiate it in the market. He previewed an upcoming "human handover" feature for customer support and plans to leverage chatbot conversations for insights to improve products.
