you’re going to kiss the love of your life good night… after a day of mundane activities,

But you are going to feel soft, and at peace inside,

Because, you get to do those things with your best friend.

You'll realize that the version of you that said… you would never love again… is gone,

because now you look forward to the days you get to be here,

loving someone fully,

and receiving the love you always deserved.
