We have taken many trips to Fredericksburg and absolutely love this Texas Hill Country wine region! Texas Hill Country is a wine lover's paradise! Over 100 wineries dot Hwy 290 from Austin to Fredericksburg. There are so many beautiful vineyards, huge outdoor spaces, and unique attractions, and it is not crowded. 

Winemakers are proud to be Texan here, the vibes are relaxing, making each winery in the Texas Hill Country feel like a real escape.

Some of our favorite wineries in Fredericksburg:

• The Rhinory - Has rhino views while you sip your wine
• Augusta Vin - Gorgeous property with vineyard lining the entry and ample indoor, patio, and table seating in the vineyard
• Signor Vineyards - A beautiful garden-like property with mostly outdoor seating, often has live music and food and charcuterie options and shopping
• 290 Wine Castle - Castle architecture and theme inside with great pizza and frozes.
• Health Vineyards - The only sparkling winery with a gorgeous patio
• Fat Ass Winery - Donkey onsite, and unique flavors make it great for bachelorette parties
• Slate Theory - The only wine cave in Fredericksburg (we haven’t been yet, but want to!)
