Welcome to the Pining For Pixels podcast! This is my video game variety show podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a subject or theme that interests me, and I will speak about what is on my mind in the world of video games!

This week I get to talk about of the most formative video game franchises in my life - the Mega Man series! To be clear, this is a ranking of Mega Man 1 - 11, not the various spin-off franchises like Mega Man X, Legends, etc. Some of my fondest video game memories are around this iconic franchise, and it was a difficult task ordering them the way I did. Every year around Christmas time, I often think about the blue bomber as I have some very prominent Christmas memories that involve Mega Man. I thought there was no better way to kick off my Christmas themed episodes this month than with a good look at the overall core Mega Man series and it gave me an excellent excuse to play through these gems yet again!
