Description
This week we conclude Nehemiah, a book that has talked about building a city and building a people. Nehemiah learns that the people are more difficult to build than the grand project of the walls of a city. The book finishes the construction of the walls but never finishes building the people.
We learn that Nehemiah is quite direct and to the point:
- What will he do when he learns the people are breaking the law?
- How far should a leader go to prevent his followers from being corrupt?
