Episode Details

We start off today's episode with the Red River Campaign still going as the Union attempt to make their way to the Confederate capitol of Shreveport, this time battling at Pleasant Hill on April 9th, 1864. Then we end with a controversial battle at Fort Pillow on March 16th. This is notable for Nathan Bedford Forrest directing his men to massacre surrendering Union forces.
