בסיום רביעי דפ' וישלח נאמר "ויבא יעקב שלם" (לאחרי גמר עבודתו בבית לבן), ופרש"י "שלם בגופו.. שלם בממונו.. שלם בתורתו", ובמדרש מוסיף גם "שלם בבניו", ומכיון ש"מעשה אבות סימן (שגורם שכך יהי') לבנים", מובן שזוהי גם הוראה לכאו"א, שעבודתו צ"ל באופן שיבוא למעמד ומצב של "שלם" בכל ענינים אלו! ב) מבואר בדא"ח שיעקב שלח מלאכים לעשו להודיע לו שכבר השלים את כללות עבודת הבירורים ומצדו ה"ה מוכן לגאולה, ועד"ז כל יהודי שולח להודיע לעשו שמצדו הכל מוכן לגאולה ע"י העבודה בתומ"צ, ואילו זכינו היתה באה הגאולה בזמן יעקב ולפועל התערבו מלאכים... אבל לאחרי שבנ"י עברו את כל ה"חבלי משיח" דעקבתא דמשיחא בודאי שמשיח צדקנו בא בקרוב ממש!

1) The end of the fourth aliyah of Parashas Vayishlach states, “And Yaakov came whole to Shechem…” (after concluding his service in Lavan’s house). Rashi explains, “Whole in his body…whole in his money…whole in his Torah,” and the Midrash adds, “whole in his sons.” Being that “the deeds of the fathers are a sign for the sons,” this is a lesson for every Jew: one’s Divine service must be such that he reaches a state of “wholeness” in all these areas! 2) Chassidus explains that Yaakov sent angels to Esav to inform him that he had already completed his service of birurim and was ready for the Redemption; similarly, every Jew sends the message to Esav, that for his part, he’s ready for the Redemption, through his service of Torah and mitzvos. Had we merited it, the Redemption would have come in Yaakov’s time, but in practice, the angels got involved...however, now that the Jewish people have already experienced the birth pangs of Moshiach, certainly Moshiach will come right now!
